Hey there!
I'm Dr. Kristen
I am passionate about giving people the tools to feel their best and live life to the fullest! My personal struggle with my hormones and digestion initially lead me to Naturopathic Medicine and a desire to help women reclaim their health.
Trust me, health can actually be a lot less complicated than you think! My role is to view your health as a whole and come up with a strategy to help you reach your goals. Your symptoms are often clues that help point us in the direction of the root cause of your concerns. Rather than covering symptoms up, its my job to ask why these symptoms are here in the first place.
I graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2021 and completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Dalhousie University. In addition to women's health, mental health is another one of my passions.
When I'm not busy as a Naturopathic Doctor, I love baking, gardening, and diving into a great book - I am a die hard Harry Potter fan and have read the whole series about 5 times now!
I am honoured to guide you through your wellness journey, helping you navigate testing options, nutrition, lifestyle, supplements and herbs to create an individualized strategic plan for success.
Virtual Care
My clinical practice is entirely virtual, so we conduct our appointments together via secure video chat or phone.

Schedule our visits into your day like a meeting, and never leave the comfort of your home or office. Unfortunately, this means you can no longer take an entire sick day for a doctors appointment!

What symptoms can I get help with?My passion is helping women manage their menstrual cycles. This means I love to help with things like painful periods, irregular cycles, PMS, and fertility. In addition to these female-centred concerns, I can also help you with things like gut health, mental health, weight loss, perimenopause, and overall health management.

Do you direct bill to Insurance Providers? No. At this time we no longer offer direct billing to insurance providers. However, you will get a receipt for your appointment that you can claim with your insurance company for reimbursement if your plan covers naturopathy.

I can't afford a 1-on-1 visit - what are my options?Your 1-on-1 visit includes not only the direct face time you get with me, but also my time spent interpreting labs, doing up to the minute research for your concern, and creating a comprehensive health plan for you. You'd be surprised how much work I put in behind the scenes to support you! If the price of a 1-on-1 visit is too much for your wallet right now, I encourage you to check out The Hormone Health Academy. I created this learning hub to make quality health information easily accessable. The courses and masterclasses you'll find there provide tons of information for a fraction of the price of seeing me 1-on-1! You can also check out my Freebies page! Lastly, don't forget to check your benefits! A lot of private health insurance has coverage for naturopathic care!

How long does it take to see results? When working with a naturopath, our interventions primarily rely on you! We will work together to find a combination of diet and lifestyle recommendations to move your health in the right direction. We will choose supplements and herbs to compliment these changes as your health progresses. Every person and condition is different, but for most menstrual or hormonal concerns we typically suggest giving yourself at least 3 months/cycles to notice the most profound results.

Do you treat men?Yes I do! While women's health and wellness is my passion, I also love supporting men in their health journey as well. If you'd like to learn more about what care might look like for you, I encourage you to book a free 15-minute Discovery Call with me so we can connect.
